Dadawa & Ethnic Music Masters Tour October – November 2010.
‘Hear the World Exploration Tour’: March – July, 2009: accompanied by a film crew, photographer and writer, Dadawa sought to document the traditional music of the five principal ethnic regions of China, that is to say the traditional music of Guizhou, Yunnan, Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia and Tibet. The ‘Hear the World Exploration Tour’ was followed by the ‘Ethnic Handicraft Exploration Tour’ in 2010.
A “COSMOPOLITAN” Top 10 Woman of the Year.
Appointed the UNDP China National Goodwill Ambassador 2009 – 2010.

2012

13th August, 2012. "Hear the World” - Dadawa and Ethnic Music Masters concert at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, in Hamburg, Germany.

8th June, 2012: Dadawa performs with Tan Dun, Tan Wei, the CBTO and a 12 bird Orchestra at the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing.
28th April, 2012. Dadawa launches a music studio amidst the mountains of Li'an Temple in Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang province.
3rd April, 2012. Dadawa and Ethnic Music Masters performance and "Hear the World” project presentation by Dadawa at The Boao Forum for Asia in Beijing.

Dadawa was the recipient of the following awards in 2011:

Dadawa is to record a new album inspired by the ‘Hear the World Ethnic Music Exploration Tour’.
The Glenn Gould Foundation named Dadawa amongst its jurors for the 2011 Glenn Gould Prize. The jury chose Leonard Cohen as the Ninth Glenn Gould Prize Laureate.
